Ingredients
4 C Pioneer or Big Chief Sugar
1 vanilla bean (split in half long way)
1 (2 oz.) jar instant coffee
1 fifth 80 proof vodka
4 C water
1/2 gallon glass container

Directions
Mix 3 cups water and Pioneer or Big Chief Sugar; boil in saucepan for 20 minutes; stir to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and add vanilla bean; let cool. Heat 1 cup water to boil, mix with the coffee; set aside to cool. Mix coffee water, sugar water, and vodka and place in 1/2 gallon glass container. Cover and let stand for 2 weeks before serving.
